A comparable study with the same theme by Camillo Procaccini is preserved in the graphic collection of the Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan (Inv. 4203, 31.2 x 26.1 cm). The drawing is of an almost identical size and might be a repetition by Procaccini of the present drawing. Provenance: Collector’s mark: collection S. Bangarth Koloszwar (not in Lugt).
